The company is led by Okey Ilonzo, P.E., Professional Planner, a licensed Professional Engineer in New Jersey and Pennsylvania with more than four decades of engineering, project management, planning, and infrastructure development experience.

Mr. Ilonzo earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, and a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering and Engineering Mechanics from Columbia University in New York. Throughout his professional career, he has successfully managed and delivered transportation, stormwater, drainage, bridge, environmental, watershed, and infrastructure improvement projects for public and private sector clients.

His engineering experience includes project planning, design, environmental assessment, drainage and stormwater management, roadway improvements, watershed studies, regulatory coordination, and construction oversight. He has served in leadership roles on major transportation and infrastructure projects throughout New Jersey and has worked with state, county, municipal, and private-sector organizations.

One of his notable accomplishments includes leadership involvement in large-scale watershed and environmental studies, including the Barnegat Bay Watershed Highway Runoff Assessment and Mitigation Program, which evaluated transportation impacts on one of New Jersey's most environmentally sensitive coastal ecosystems.

Today, Robert & Pat Engineering Inc. is expanding beyond traditional engineering services into the convergence of engineering, artificial intelligence, digital twins, computer vision, sensor fusion, and human motion intelligence technologies. The company is actively developing innovative platforms that combine engineering science with advanced AI-enabled analytics to improve human performance, safety, rehabilitation, and real-time decision support systems.
